Overview

Victor and his ex-wife owned a cape in Union and had a settlement agreement requiring the house be sold and proceeds split evenly.

What We Did

We sent one written offer to both parties and both attorneys at the same moment, with the math behind it. We took no position on the split and never spoke to either of them about the other. We also told Victor initially that listing would probably net them more. He came back six weeks later.

Outcome

Closed 21 days after the second call. The title company disbursed to two separate accounts per the settlement agreement, so neither had to hand money to the other.
